10 Best Wedding Photography Youtube Channels

There are infinite resources online to learn about all things wedding photography, and while I could sit through and read hours and hours of articles, I’d rather not. If you’re anything like me, you learn better through video than through text. Lucky for us, thousands of wedding photographers thought the same thing, and have taken to Youtube to teach and showcase their craft. Follow my guide for the 10 best wedding photography Youtube channels that you should be following!
1. SLR Lounge
Their Youtube channel is full of tips for a wedding and portrait photographer. From posing to lighting to editing and gear talk. They cover topics that are helpful for both beginner and seasoned photographers. Check them out here.
2. Taylor Jackson
Taylor has one of the best Youtube channels focused on photography. He has a series called “A Photographer In”, where he travels around the world, taking photos, and taking his viewers along for the ride. He also gives fun insight to his wedding photography session by mounting a go-pro to his camera. Taylor is always coming up with interesting videos that are sure to keep you entertained and informed. 3. Jamie Windsor
Jamie is a wedding photographer based in the UK and shares so many tips of the trade through their Youtube channel. From tips on how to get better black and white photos, to discussing original photo ideas. There’s something for everyone on Jamie’s channel. Check them out here.
4. Dan Watson
Dan has been in the photography and videography industry for 15 years and has a ton of information to share. He walks you through every step of the photography and videography process, photography news, gear reviews, lessons, and so much more! Check them out here.
5. Forestry Films
Forestry Films is a fun channel to follow for wedding photographers. He’s based out of California and shares inspiration and education for those looking to get into the industry of wedding photography! Check them out here.
6. Chase Jarvis
Chase isn’t necessarily a wedding photographer, but is definitely worth mentioning! He shares the experiences that he has encountered while behind the camera to motivate and inspire photographers of all skills levels. Check them out here.
7. Peter Mckinnon
Peter runs a photography vlog that is extremely insightful, and educational! There’s a ton of photography tutorials that you’re bound to learn a thing or two from, and they’re all incredibly in-depth. Not to mention, his videos have great content and production quality. Check them out here.
8. Thomas Heaton
Thomas is a landscape photographer but offers many helpful tips that can be used by any style photographer, plus they’re very entertaining! His videos start with an intro of the shot he wants, why he wants the shot, the challenges he takes to get there, the gear he plans on using, the journey to the location, arriving, and then tips on how he achieves the shot he wants. 9. The Art of Photography
This channel is unique, as it discusses all things film-related, print related. Ted, the host, talks about what makes a photograph interesting and artistic and even gives tips about taking photography to the next level. 10. Mango Street
Mango Street is designed for photographers, by photographers. They have over 100 videos that are all educational and entertaining. They share their unique editing styles, and their chemistry together makes it so appealing to watch! Check them out here.
